United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region is inviting everyone to their Imagination Breakfast, Thursday, September 18^th, from 7:30am- 9:00am at the Doubletree by Hilton, 40 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY. At this special breakfast, we'll delve into the profound impact that access to books and a strong foundation in reading have on a child's development, academic success and lifelong journey. You'll hear heartwarming stories and learn how your support directly fuels the imaginations of our youngest learners.

Empower Young Minds Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library

The heart of our mission at this event is to raise vital funds for United Way's Dolly Parton Imagination Library program. This incredible initiative delivers free, high-quality, age-appropriate books directly to children's homes every month from birth until they start kindergarten.UWDOR has started the program in two areas, the town of Amenia, in Dutchess County and Pine Bush, in Orange County. Children in these areas can register to start receiving books.
