The HR Department is looking for a Training Coordinator. This is a 40- hour flexible position that does require travel to In Flight locations when needed. (Throughout Ulster and Columbia Counties). The position is based out of RED HOOK.
Training Coordinator will organize internal training efforts to develop an organized, consistent training track that could be used throughout the agency by various departments. Additionally, they will collaborate with other local nonprofit social service agencies such as the Mid-Hudson Training Consortium (MHTC) and the Regional Centers for Workforce Transformation (RCWT) through monthly/bi-monthly meetings. Training will include, but not be limited to, courses mandated by the state of NY and OPWDD. These regular educational sessions include CPR, First Aid, Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention - Revised (SCIP-R), Mandated Reporter Training, HIPAA, Sexual Harassment, etc. Will plan, design, and conduct training programs for staff by designing, developing, and providing appropriate training. They ensures licensing standards are met and that staff are trained in areas related to professionalism, job duties, and knowledge related to agency mission and goals. This position reports directly to Associate Director of Human Resources.
